To determine whether it is really appropriate to replace a given term in a text to be translated, TradooIT offers you an advanced contextualization feature. This feature allows you to go further than simply considering the client and the subject field, and to specify, among other things, where the term should be located in the document if it should be replaced, at which distance it should be from a specific expression, or if which other expression should be found anywhere or in a specific location in the document.
To contextualize a terminology record: - On your terminology bank, create a record or edit a record.
- Click on the Advanced contextualization section.
TradooIT displays a tree allowing you to define your advanced contextulization criteria.
- Define your criteria. To do so, click on the green + icon to add one. The table below explains the various options that you may use to define your criteria.
